Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Shinnyo-en Buddhist Centre is closely following the guidelines of Public Health England and as a precautionary measure to safeguard all those visiting our centre we have decided to cancel or postpone all services and activities until 31st March. Although we will not have any activities, the centre will remain open for visitors. 
We will update our website with any further information relating to our centre if the situation changes.

In order to safeguard all those visiting our centre from the possibility of infection, we would like to request the following;

If you have any concerns about your health in relation to novel coronavirus, COVID-19, please follow Public Health England advice and contact NHS 111.

Any visitors or their close friends or family members who have travelled to any of the following listed countries, which are deemed by the Government to carry a risk of transmission, we kindly request not to visit the centre for 14 days after their return:

  • China

  • Japan

  • Italy

  • South Korea

  • Hong Kong

  • Singapore

  • Taiwan

  • Thailand

  • Iran

  • Malaysia

  • Macau

  • Cambodia

  • Laos

  • Myanmar

  • Vietnam

Please note that this situation continues to evolve and change and therefore we would ask that you please monitor the Government updates ( Public Health England ) and follow their advice as and when it is issued.
