Shinnyo Lantern Floating Festival - Entry 3pm, 23rd (Sat) Sept 2023

The grounds of Shinnyo-en Buddhist Centre will be open between 21st – 23rd September 2023 for you to create and float your own lanterns on the lake and enjoy a moment of contemplation in the tranquil gardens. 

1. The event is FREE but registration required. 

2. The Manor House (Main building) will be open between 4pm-8pm Weekdays & 1pm-8pm on Saturday.

3. Please reserve one ticket per person. 

4. Due to limited spaces, we kindly ask you to contact us for any cancellation. 

5. We'll send your booking confirmation by email. Please make sure you fill in your correct email address when you book to ensure you receive your confirmation email with the ticket. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please contact us.  We ask you to check your junk mail box first.

6. Garden paths are made of gravel. Accessible toilet facilities are available in the garden. Free onsite parking, including disabled parking spaces available. (Limited to approximately 100 cars). 

7. We kindly ask you to refrain from bringing dogs to the venue, except guide and listening dogs. 

8. You can bring your own picnic, however kindly refrain from bringing alcohol. A coffee van and a pizza van will be available on site. Please bring your own folding chairs if you can, as we have limited chairs onsite.
